Hey,
I know it’s a hard way. I know you wanna give up at some point…but only at some point right? You will survive no matter how hard it is. You might know nothing about what you future is like, but you know you will survive. Remember this.

Whoa. I must have a hard time then. The very first quarter at Northwestern. Totally overwhelmed by the intensity here. Now I’m much better and start to enjoy it. As for me, it takes more guts to drop out. I just don’t dare to do that.

Via MSNBC,

A widening, multistate out break of E. coli bacterium has prompted the FDA to caution consumers nationwide not to eat raw, packaged spinach.

There is still a huge bag of spinach in my fridge but it has to get out now. E. coli is spreading and I don’t want to be a victim. It’s comforting that I always boil spinach before eating it for I don’t like the taste of raw spinach. But it’s safe to keep it in mind and don’t take the risk. Alas.
E. coli is:
* A form of bacteria that commonly lives in the human body.
* One strain releases a toxin that can cause severe illness.
* The germ is present in uncooked beef, unpasteurized milk and juice, and on raw sprouts and lettuce. [ source ]
