周三Flypig就在MSN上给我发了他和ibuzzo倡导的“和平需要你”活动的链接，因为最近疲于毕业论文的抽样，无暇转贴，很是惭愧。但求为两岸和平所尽绵薄之力，永远不会太晚。

战争离我们有多远？一个有些“危言耸听”的问题。
上世纪90年代中叶，每当台海关系紧张，福州城的街头巷尾总会出现浩浩荡荡的军车，坊间也跟着流传起早已废弃的防空洞又被重新启用的消息。
电视机里反复播放“福建沿海军事演习禁渔通告”或者“福州市防空警报试鸣通知”。不谙世事的孩子们看到这里，总是紧张地望着父母，“不会真的打起来吧？”
“不会真的打起来吧？”我们曾多少次地问过自己这个问题。
战争，炮火，流血，阵亡，废墟。这些词汇总是被媒体习惯性地堆砌在一起。对这些，我们感到恐惧；对这些，我们或许也已经感到麻木。
但是，当我们用编码迥异却同根同源的汉字，书写着对抗的词句；当我们操着共同的语言，面朝海峡对岸，用挑衅的口吻互相辱骂的时候，我们可曾认真地思考过战争的恐怖？我们可曾试图珍惜眼前来之不易的安定和舒适？我们可曾想过抛开彼此意识形态上的差异，用广博无垠的心胸去承载所有华人对和平的渴求？试问，我们努力过了么？
当我们通过CCTV或是TVBS看到战火纷飞下的贫穷和动荡，由此感到不安的时候，请不妨抬起头，仰望一下这片全球华人共同拥有的蓝天。和平的信念，其实早已深深地植根在我们的心里。
台湾的Blogger写道：“我期待和平，就如同我热爱生命与尊严一样。”
其实，每一个人都可以也应该以热爱生命与尊严的名义去付出我们的努力。
和平需要我们！和平需要你！
和平的台海、和平的东亚、和平的世界需要所有以中文为文化根基的人共同努力、共同促进。
如果你是一名blogger，请告诉自己的读者、自己的同事、自己的亲人，两岸同胞对和平共同的企盼，从来没有像今天这样强烈过！
我们坚信，一块祈祷和平的标识，一段发自肺腑的心声，当它们在blog上一同出现，就已经为推动海峡两岸的和平进程注入了一股巨大的动力！
努力吧！为了生命的尊严！华人世界的福祉需要你！和平更需要你！

I’ve been suffering from procrastination for a long time. Since college indeed, and it’s getting worse in this semester. I labeled myself a creature of deadline–I always printed out my paper ten minutes before the class began. I never understand the word “deadline” as well as now: you cross the line and you’ll be dead.
For those who might not know the exact meaning of the intimidating word, procrastination means putting off something one should be doing. The moment I write down a task on my to-do list, the task starts to haunt in my head. I try to avoid it by all means and the escape leads to greater anxiety and disappointment with myself. The more anxious I get, the more I decline to get it done. Sick circle! More that that, I get distracted by all other fun or even not fun stuff and have to get away from work from time to time. Oh Gosh! That’s not what I am supposed to be! I don’t wanna drop out of school simply because I can’t control myself!
So now I’m writing this down and expose my problem in front of you. I need some self-help. This book might be a good tutor [ Thanks for Dr. Clay Tucker-Ladd's generosity for sharing the book ]. Time to work now. I mean it, seriously.
